Trip It to Me

1259_tripit_logo Travel much?  Reduce your stress by using TripIt.com, a terrific web site that functions like your own online travel assistant. It's free and priceless in a crunch.

To create a trip, you just forward purchase confirmation emails to TripIt to create a master itinerary for air, hotel, and more. You can add details as you confirm them, and not worry about juggling a dozen emails, frequent flyer numbers, hotel addresses, log ons, or contacts.  Best of all, you can access all the details in one place anywhere—and easily share itineraries and travel calendars with friends, clients, or bosses.

TripIt syncs with your Google Calendar, Outlook, Plaxo, and others.  Embedded in your itinerary are links to Google Maps, NOAA weather, SeatGuru, Wikipedia, Eventful, Flickr, and OpenTable.

So leave the file folder with printed email confirmations at home.  Carry one itinerary or Email plans@planit.com, identify your trip, and it all bounces back to you.
